NHS FEES - These fees are set by the NHS and apply nationwide.
BAND 1 - This covers a check-up, x-rays, scale & polish and fluoride varnish. Items will only be provided if clinically necessary.
BAND 2 - This covers all items in band 1 as well as fillings, root canal work and extractions. Items will only be provided once the treatment has been discussed and if it is clinically appropriate/necessary.
BAND 3 - This covers all items in bands 1 and 2 as well as complex treatments, requiring laboratory work, including crowns, bridges and dentures. Items will only be provided once the treatment has been discussed and if it is clinically appropriate/necessary.
Band 4 - Urgent emergency treatment. Includes examination, x-rays (related to the urgent problem), dressings and recementing crowns.

Please be prepared to pay on your first visit, unless you are exempt.
Please ensure that your NHS treatment course is completed (as outlined by your dentist) and appointments are less than 2 months apart, otherwise you may be have to pay again for your treatment.
Continued failure to attend for your appointments, without a valid reason, will result in NHS treatment being withdrawn. Treatment will then only be available privately.
